Our #3 Grade Deerskin Leather in a lightweight 2–3 oz is an economical way to enjoy the softness, flexibility, and easy workability of genuine deerskin leather. Its supple feel makes it especially useful for smaller projects and cut pieces such as repairs, patchwork, fringe, trim, appliqué, beadwork backing, regalia details, craft accents, and practice pieces. #3 Grade hides may contain more noticeable scars, holes, blemishes, uneven areas, irregular sections, or other natural imperfections than our #1 and #2 Grade hides, but still offer useful sections of beautiful deerskin for makers who can carefully plan their cuts around these areas.
