Ornament Kit - Shimmer Snowflakes - Makes 3

Create three luminous snowflakes that shimmer with the soft colours of winter using sparkling Aurora crystals, iridescent shimmer glass beads and delicate seed bead accents in Crystal AB and Glacier Blue. Pre-formed six-pointed snowflake frames provide the foundation, while a simple circle of shimmer beads and seed beads adds an airy, lacy effect that reflects changing colours as it catches the light. Designed to coordinate with the Shimmer Icicles kit, these snowflakes are perfect for creating a sophisticated winter-inspired ornament collection.

Each kit includes:

• Pre-formed wire snowflake forms.

• Craft wire.

• Jewellery-quality Aurora crystal beads.

• Iridescent shimmer glass beads.

• Aurora-finish seed beads.

• Easy-to-follow illustrated instructions.

Approx. size of each ornament: 3 in. (7 cm) from point to point.
Tools needed: Ruler, round-nose pliers, jewellery wire cutters, memory wire cutters, and ribbon, cord or ornament hangers for hanging the finished ornaments.
Approx. time to create: 20–30 minutes per ornament.
Experience needed: The beadwork itself is straightforward, although some hand strength and proper round-nose pliers are needed to form the small finishing loops on the snowflake frames.
