Featuring a smooth grain front with a soft sueded back, it remains supple and comfortable to work with while providing added substance for moccasins, medicine bags, pouches, mitts and gloves, garments, regalia, beadwork, appliqué, trim, fringe, and a wide variety of leathercraft projects. Carefully selected for a cleaner overall surface with fewer imperfections, #1 Grade is ideal for projects where appearance, larger usable areas, and a more consistent finish are important. As a natural material, each hide is unique and may vary slightly in grain, markings, shape, and texture.
